As with all states and countries, Minnesota and its citizens are facing a number of important environmental issues. To be able to solve these issues, Minnesota needs an environmentally literate citizenry - one that has knowledge about and attitudes toward the environment and the issues, which in turn may affect behaviors related to the environment. As we enter the 21st century, it is and appropriate time to collect ingormation about the environmenal literacy of Minnesota's citizens.
