Meet Our Partners

The Rivers of Life program has many partners and supporters in our watershed education efforts. These organizations can be your partners, too, as you explore how we shape rivers, and how rivers shape us.

The Audubon Society's Upper Mississippi River Campaign and Rivers of Life are teaming up for the Mississippi Adventure and for Audubon Ark 2001. The Audubon Society will be providing support and personnel to help bring the natural history of the Mississippi River alive for students around the world.
The Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) is a scientific, technical and educational organization that contributes to international efforts to combat the escalating global water crisis. SIWI facilitates research, raises awareness and stimulates action on world water issues. Among its many efforts, SIWI sponsors the Stockholm Junior Water Prize, an international environmental award presented to honor one of the world’s most outstanding water science research projects by a young person or group of young people.
The National Youth Leadership Council (NYLC) is a youth-driven service-learning organization. In the FELLOWS Model School Project, NYLC and Rivers of Life are helping students learn through service to the community.
When EarthForce combined with GREEN, the Global Rivers Envionmental Education Network, they created a powerful force to engage youth in community environmental action. By teaming up with Rivers of Life, our watershed education programs take on a strong action component. And when students are mobilized to action, change happens!
