but what do you see? 
Not water and fish only mud and debris. 
Please take up some time to clean up my grime 
so that pretty I can still be. 

Just give me a chance 
to get one small glance 
that will tell me I'm looking my best. 
For then I will know 
I've got something to show 
and that will give me a rest. 

A few minutes a day, 
then you'll be on your way 
and I'll soon look real good, I know. 
Such a small price to pay 
for a beatutiful day 
with a sparkling waterfront show.
