FINALLY -- JOURNEY'S END.  NO PLANET EVER LOOKED SWEETER. HYPERSPACE IS HARD ON THE OLD BONES,  AND I'M READY TO SIT AND TALK WITH ALL MY NEW FELLOW HUMANS.

WELCOME ABOARD!  GOOD TO MEET YOU, OF COURSE, THOUGH I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE ON LAND. . . WHAT HAVE YOU PREPARED FOR US? WELL, . . .  I'M AFRAID NOT ALL OUR GREETINGS ARE GOOD ONES.

WE TRIED TO AVOID THE MISTAKES WE MADE ON EARTH.  ALL OUR ENERGY DEVELOPMENT THE PAST FIVE YEARS HAS BEEN ON WIND AND SOLAR PLANTS.    BUT SO FAR, WE'VE ONLY BUILT HALF OF THE ONES WE NEED . . .  AND THEY'RE NOT COMPLETELY READY.

SADLY,  WE CAN ONLY OFFER TO TAKE SOME OF YOU.  NOT ALL.  I AM WEARY OF THIS WAITING,  AND NOW EVEN WEARIER OF THE DECISION I HAD TO MAKE.  NOT ALL OF YOU WILL HAVE A FRESH START IN OUR COLONY. . .  I AM DEEPLY SORRY. YES,  THIS IS AWFUL. PLEASE TAKE OUR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN.  THE REST OF US WILL ORBIT AS WE PLAN THE NEXT STEP.

GOODBYE. ...
WE MUST GET TO WORK
