Just as archaeologists uncover mysteries about past civilizations, in Rivers Through Time, we explore cultural relationships with rivers throughout history. We study historic post cards and create current ones of the same riverscapes. We conduct river clean-ups and study the material they collect using analytical tools developed by archaeologists. We talk to community members and record their early memories of rivers and culture. You can even create junk sculptures, develop culture history maps, and engage in creative writing activities.
