Solstice River Video
CGEE draws large crowds to celebrate the environment through exciting artistic site-specific performances. In this video, you get a taste of the Solstice River event that celebrates the importance of the Mississippi River on the longest day of the year, the summer solstice. This event reaches out to people of all ages, instilling in them a deepened appreciation and understanding of the river. It creates an audience gathered literally over the water to participate in a community performance. The performance renews our connection to this great life source, inspiring protection and restoration of its waters.
