Provide vision, leadership and resources for a pioneering center in environmental education and distance learning. CGEE envisions sustainable ecological and cultural communities. The Center will achieve this vision through 1)professional development of educators, 2) K-12 distance learning projects, 3) community outreach and 4) multimedia story-telling. In the past two years the center has secured $1.5 million dollars in grants and contracts and the staff has grown 200%. The director has overall responsibility for all aspect of the Center.
