We recommend that you work through the program's introductory segments--Understanding Watersheds, What is an Ecosystem?, and especially Testing for Water Quality--before undertaking one of the three river journeys.

On the river journeys, after you've completed each land-use milestone, follow the text and audio prompts that lead you to the Water Quality Lab where you can test water samples related to the land-use you've just learned about.
