Estuaries in the Balance:

Freshwater Nurseries
of Lake Superior
CGEE's new Public TV documentary will tell the tale of two iconic Lake Superior estuaries — ecologically critical shoreline environments where lake- and river-water mix.
One estuary is pristine and has been sustained through time by the Bad River Band of Ojibwe. The other, recovering from decades of industrial pollution, is at the heart of the Fond du Lac Ojibwe's traditional homeland. Both estuaries face an uncertain future.
