Waters to the Sea®  Stories Webinar Series

The Waters to the Sea® Stories webinar series connects CGEE’s acclaimed educational resources with the expertise of our diverse partners in environmental education. Each webinar will dive deep into an environmental topic with a subject matter expert and explore how educators can use the lessons in the Waters to the Sea® multimedia programs to bring that topic to life for students learning in the classroom or remotely. Each webinar provides 1.5 free Continuing Education Units!

Take a deep dive into the Gulf of Mexico's Coastal and Marine Environments
Hosted by the Gulf of Mexico Alliance
May 29, 2024, 2 pm Central Time

Join us for a sneak preview of an exciting new program under development by CGEE with the Gulf of Mexico Alliance (GOMA). This new online learning program will offer K-12 and public audiences in all five Gulf states—Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida—a deep dive into the natural systems, human history, and current well-being of the Gulf's coastal and marine environments. Content is being developed in partnership with GOMA’s federal, state, university, and non-profit partners.
